Based on your analysis you are required to address the following ten (10) sections in your report: - 1) Introduction 2) Background to the industry 3) SWOT analysis of the industry 4) PEST analysis of the industry 5) How profitable is the industry? 6) What are the factors driving profitability? 7) How will this factors change in future and what will be the effect of these changes on industry profitability? 8) Recommendations 9) Conclusion 10) Reference Lists Task: Utilise KOI e - library and industry reports (e.g.) IBIS, promotional materials, government websites & trends etc) to provide the analysis of the industry's current operations. Assessment criteria: 1. An ability to utilise sources such as KOI e - library & e- books, Industry reports to search, locate and summarise data relevant to the assignment. 2. An ability to utilise appropriate academic theories and analysing key variables within the external environment which have a direct impact on the industry and macro - environmental variables that might impact current and future performance 3. An ability to develop a review of the industry forces and industry structure including identification of what key factors are most likely to impact industry profitability. 4. An ability to present a well written, well - structured report. 5. An ability to critically analyse information, formulate conclusion and exhibit original thought. Marking guide: Students will be evaluated as per Report marking guide (refer subject outlines) and based on the five criteria assessed across the marking scale from Fail to High Distinction. These criteria indude a) knowledge and theory; b) analysis and application; c) reflectivity and critical thinking; d) writing tyle and structure; and e) evidence of research and correct use of Harvard Anglia in - text referencing style. Refer detailed marking rubrics in the Subject outlines. References required: 10 academic sources as a minimum including peer reviewed journal articles and books.
