A good solid definition of the problem will be a great place to begin. By meeting with individuals who may have a better idea of what the solution to the problem may entail you may see things you didn't think of before.

This submission will require you to document your steps through the problem definition and analysis. To do this, review the notes on Problem Definition and Analysis.

For this first submission you will prepare:

A meeting with an individual you hope can help plan out what requirements your software must meet to tackle the problem you are proposing. Record the meeting (brainstorming session, interview, quiz) in an organized fashion. A problem definition statement based on your personal assessment of the problem and the views from your meeting. Complete at least one of the techniques used for problem analysis (IPO, DFD, Pseudo code), be sure to detail every piece of functionality you feel your software will need to include.
