Would you be able to help me provide a comment to this discussion, I$\text{'}$ m having trouble coming up with one, please : I believe that collective security has been somewhat as if we look the number of wars has decreased overtime. Various international organizations have opened the doors more for communication between other states rathe than just going straight into conflict with one another. However international organizations cannot do it all and there are still wars that go on$.$ Unfortunately due to human nature being selfish, there is no way to stop all wars. It is just natural that people are going to do what is best for themselves$/$their country. That leaves some countries getting the "short end of the stick" which leaves them unhappy. I believe that international organizations can help prevent some wars but not all. War is going to happen regardless but I believe that international organizations can help resolve conflicts that going on$.$ Even though they should try to worry about preventive solutions, the best thing they can try to come up with is reactive solutions to war.
