Write a 4 paragraph essay using your district's School Board Policy Manual and/or an individual campus handbook, and/or any other local or state documents which speak to governance, and using the table on pages 9-11 of the Walsh Text, identify at least one law, one policy, one regulation, or one rule or guideline that is an example of each of the sources of school law: 1. constitutional, 2. statutes, 3. judicial cases, and 4. administrative. For each of the laws, rules, regulations, policies, or guidelines that you choose, write a full paragraph explaining clearly what the rule, regulation, guideline, law, or policy exemplifies (example of constitutional guideline, statutes, judicial cases, and administrative laws, rules, or regulations.) If your district uses the Texas Association of School Boards' policies - you will have a policy BE Local also. TASB organizes its policies using an alphabetical organizational structure.
