There is no formula for the ratio per se, at least not that I can find. It says it's 1:1.61; the textbook says "the value of 1.61 in the golden ratio is termed Phi (1.618033988749895)," that it is also an irrational number. The relationship of the Fibonacci sequence to the golden ratio is that the ratio of each successive pair of numbers in the sequence approximates 1.618.
