Question:
Write a pseudo-solar system made up of individual letters from...
from Java
In Question 1, you will create a pseudo-solar system made up of individual letters from an input string the user provides.
- The program must use JOptionPane to ask the user for a String.
- You can assume the string will not be longer than 10 characters, but it may be any length < 10.
- The program must use a for loop. Starting from the first letter in the string, the loop should calculate the size and position and draw it on the canvas.
- The first letter must have a size of 40 pixels.
- Every letter after the first must be 85% of the size of the previous one.
- The letters should be spaced out equally from the center to the edge of the screen, and all the letters should be visible.
- The program should prompt the user for a new string if they press any key on the keyboard.
- All letters should use the same global angle variable, which should be incremented once per frame.
- Each letter will multiply the global angle variable by its position (first letter: 1*angle, second letter: 2* angle ... 6th: 6*angle, etc...)
- The center of rotation ("Anchor") of the letters should be their centers, not the lower left corner used by text().
- Every letter should rotate in the opposite direction from the previous one.
- If the user clicks the mouse, the angle of the letter should be set to 0 and remain there as long as the mouse is clicked.
