Write A Question For Following Information Last week, US army had conducted an air strike in Baghdad and killed the top commander of Iran, General Qasem Soleimani. The US Government suspected Soleimani behind various attacks and terrorist activities in the USA. Soleimani was also considered to be the master mind behind attacks conducted on American diplomats in Iraq. The air strike was conducted when Soleimani was passing through Baghdad. Hence if the Iranian government wanted to file a case for the death of Qasem Soleimani, it will come under the jurisdiction of Baghdad's Supreme Judicial Council. This is so because the incident happened within the provinces of Iraq. However, as this case is a matter of international interest, hence the International Court of justice may claim exclusive jurisdiction on this case. Exclusive jurisdiction happens when a court has the power to take the case under its jurisdiction over the power of other courts. This incident has been trending in international media. There are chances of a war happening between Iran and USA. The countries are required to maintain peace and decorum so as to sustain international peace and prosperity. US force has killed the Iran, General Qasem Soleimani, at the Baghdad area, when Soleimani was moving from the Baghdad region. Thus this is legal fact and this is being accepted by USA President Donald Trump. So this can be used as a legal evidence for the killing of General Soleimani by US force. Since this action is carried out at Baghdad area (Iraq), which falls under Iraq Nation, so the legal laws of Iraq nation will be applicable for this legal case and Iran and US to follow the legal rules of the land of incidence happened. Iran can ask the legal case to run over US force for the killing of their general at the Iraq Supreme Court, and they can avoid sending it to the international court. Thus Iran can get the benefit of running the case at Iraq's Supreme Court based at Baghdad and avoid the US influences at International court.
