Write a Research Proposal on "Soft skills and tech expertise of effective project managers under global fund in health sector."

The research proposals must be prepared according to the following layout:

1. Introduction

1.1 Background of the study

General overview and background of the study.

1.2 Statement of the problem

Formulate the research problem by clearly indicating the research issues to investigate in the study. Include the purposes of the study.

1.3 Either objectives of the study or research questions (NOT BOTH)

Articulate what you want to achieve by doing this study.

1.4 Significance of the study

Articulate the importance of the study, and what it will add to the already existing pool of knowledge..

1.5 Limitation of the study

Indicate the logistical, resource and other limitations of the study and the possible impact of such limitations on the conclusions the study ends up with.

1.6 Delimitation of the study

Indicate the specific scope of the study, providing the rationale for such delimitation.

2. Literature Review and (where applicable) the theoretical framework [20 MARKS]

Prepare critical, synthesised and integrated literature reviews that demonstrate the need and justification of the study. The reviews should show gaps in knowledge, theoretical and methodological shortcomings, need for further research, unanswered questions, and disagreements in theoretical frameworks that need revision to resolve controversies. In addition, the reviews should demonstrate what has been done in the research area of interest and what remains to be investigated.

3. Methodology [30 MARKS]

3.1 Research Design

Provide clear statements on the research design you intend to use. It is not necessary to provide definitions of research designs. However, you should specify how you intend to use a particular research design in the study. You should not merely describe the distinction between the generic designs.

3.2 Population

Specify the target population of the study.

3. Sample (where applicable)

Explain why you intend to draw a sample from the target population and how big the sample should be. Specify the sampling technique you intend to use and explain why the technique you chose is appropriate for the study.

4. Research Instruments (where applicable)

Describe the research instruments and measures that you are going to use in data collection and explain why those instruments are appropriate.

5. Procedure

Describe in detail how the data will be collected.

6. Data analysis

Describe specific statistical tools you are going to apply in analysing the data. Mention first what you want to calculate and then go on to describe the statistical tool you are going to use. Explain why this tool is appropriate for what you want to achieve.

4. Research Ethics [10 MARKS]

Provide detailed information about possible ethical issues you are likely to encounter in this study and how you will address them.
