Write a resume, it should be tailored to support a specific job. Identify sample job descriptions that youre interested in and qualified to perform. Search online and gather a few job postings that represent the type of position youre targeting. It doesnt matter if the location isnt ideal; for this purpose, you should only be concerned with the job description and its requirements. Write a brief summary in your own words of the job description and a brief reflection on how your skills, abilities, attributes and educational attainment align with the key criteria of this position. This summary should be no longer than half a page and is not a covering letter. Do not set this up as a covering letter. This summary will serve as a reference for your assessor and should be completed in conjunction with the rsum. In this summary, you should briefly describe the skills, qualities and experience required for the job and how you meet (or are working to meet this). In Part 1, indicate the job that you are applying for so the assessor can assess if you have tailored your rsum to support this specific job. This information should on the page before the start of the rsum. This is just for the purposes of assessment of this assignment. You wouldnt normally do this when actually submitting your resume for a real position. NOTE: DO NOT WRITE A COVERING LETTER. THIS IS NOT A COVERING LETTER AND IT WILL NOT BE GRADED IF YOU SUBMIT ONE. PART 2 Complete your rsum as if you were submitting it for this position. For the purposes of this exercise, we will assume that you have completed your undergraduate degree in bachelors of health sciences. Include in your rsum all the relevant sections and complete each section, tailoring to this job where necessary and highlighting how your skills/experience/attributes are relevant to the job.
