Write a two page journal article on some technical topic with which you are familiar. The purpose of the article is not so much to do with the actual content of the article, but for you to demonstrate that you understand how a journal article should be put together. To help you do this you may expand your topic beyond what you actually know from other sources; add bibliographies that you have not actually used, and so on.

Assume that your article will be published in your companys weekly in-house newsletter and will be read by about 120 people from all levels of the companys hierarchy.

8. Outline of your article: headings, use of white space (do not over use as a ploy to fill 2 pages). (4)
