INTERNSHIP AT TOYOTA MOTOR MANUFACTURING TURKEY (TMMT)

The Company Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey is one of Toyota's vehicle production bases in Europe. Located in Arifiye /Sakarya - Turkey, Toyota Turkey manufactures Corolla and Toyota C-HR models. Majority of the production is exported to around 150 countries. Toyota Turkey, owned by Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA (%90), and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (%10), has a total investment of 2,08 Billion Euro, and currently employs more than 5,000 people. Dedicated to best quality production with the contribution of all members, Toyota Turkey applies the Toyota Production System (TPS) to its manufacturing processes from the very first day of the start of its operation. Today, with an increased annual production capacity of 280,000 units, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey (Toyota Turkey) is one of the ten biggest overseas manufacturing operations of Toyota, and one of the biggest manufacturing companies of Turkey.

Services Done at the Company
• Pressing steel rolls to give shape to the relevant parts of the vehicle and welding the formed parts.
• Producing under-upper body and side panels in automatic and manual lines with latest technology equipment.
• Painting the vehicle not only to color the surface but also to provide sound-proofing and corrosion resistance (22 different colored bodies are produced).
• Transferring the parts to the oven.
• Delivering the colored parts to the Assembly Unit and assembling the parts with high quality robots.
• Designing interior design of lounge rooms for fleet customers by using the software such as, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Constructing the special test roads and carrying out static and performance tests on vehicles on these roads.
• Management of shipping the vehicles to the showrooms and dealers for the customers all around the world.
• Getting in contact with companies for leasing purposes.
