5. Conclude the paragraph by illustrating how it may connect to a larger aspect of the argument.
6. Provide feedback to at least two other classmates.
Example
Yoga for Stress Management
Yoga is one of the many great ways to manage stress. It helps the mind release negative energy through specific kinds of movement that could stimulate deep breathing and the correct way for the blood to flow. Several studies explain how stress increases the cortisol hormones and by what means, if not controlled well, holds the possibility to affect our health. I have been facing a high level of stress since I have lived in an intense situation for an extensive period, which has affected my overall health. That has caused me hyper cortisol and increased blood sugar. While I am in the medical field and my major is nursing, I have done my research, and I have come to learn that the most effective solution to stress is yoga. The studies showed that "practicing medium-intensity yoga for 50 minutes, three times per week, for eight weeks at home had significantly lowered stress and anxiety, and higher accuracy on working memory tasks" (Seaver, 36).
Additionally, another study showed a positive effect on work-related stress. Those people had work-related stress with symptoms like sleep disturbances, weight issues, and depression. In the study, they compared the outcomes for approximately twelve weeks in people who did not have experience in yoga to people who practiced yoga for 12 weeks. The study showed a significant decrease in work-related stress and their symptoms. More importantly, the study includes "If work-related stress and stress adaption was better understood, more assistance could be provided to them to assist them to handle their stress, maintain their enthusiasm, and engage in their work" (Lin, 236).
Considering all this, I believe that yoga is a mind and body exercise that can provide different benefits to our bodies and brains by improving our breathing and meditation ways and reflecting by noticing life improvement, decreasing depression, and increasing the ability to work better under stressful situations.
