Consider a time slotted system where packet transmission by the users are synchronized and a packet occupies an entire time slot. 35 users generate packets randomly and independently with probability p=0.1 in every time slot. A packet is transmitted as soon as it is generated (i.e., transmitted instantaneously). Note: In each slot, the number of packets generated can vary between 0 and 35. Write a program to simulate the packet generation for 100,000 time slots and gather the following.

a) Out of 100,000 slots, what fraction of slots were idle (i.e., no packets generated)?

b) Out of 100,000 slots, what fraction of slots had exactly 1 packet generated?

c) What fraction slots had 2, 3, 4, .., 35 packets generated?

d) Plots the fractions on the y-axis and 0 through 35 on the x-axis.

e) Now, plot 3(f) and 4(d) on top of each other. Explain what you observe. Instructions: Feel free to use any language for your program. You must not use MATLAB or EXCEL for the simulation. Use any random number generator. You can use any tool for the plots (including Matlab and excel).
