Write the credit approval/order acknowledgment letter to Mr. Kevin Dexter, Pine Lake Golf Club, 2500 Country Club Drive, Klamath, CA 95548-1200. The letter should contain four paragraphs. The E-mail assignment is a routine request in which you are asking a music company why personal information such as social security number, etc. are required to place an order. In the first paragraph state that you were pleased when you discovered their company on the Internet because you enjoy listening to music from the 1960s and 1970s. State that while placing your order, you discovered that they required your personal information and that you canceled your order. In the second paragraph state your facts. 2. THANK YOU MEMO SCENARIO Type a memo to a fellow employee thanking him/her for his/her assistance on a project that you spent eight months preparing for your supervisor.

3. GOOD NEWS LETTER SCENARIO As the marketing manager for Pacific Golf Supply Company (PGS), you have just approved a credit account for Pine Lake Golf Club, a new golf course in northern California. Send Mr. Kevin Dexter a letter stating that he has been approved this club for a $5,000 initial credit line. PGS offers its customers 2/10, n/30 payment terms and charges interest at 18 percent (spell out the word percent) annual rate on overdue accounts. Each quarter PGS reviews its outstanding accounts and offers an increase in the credit line to any customer having a current account. The letter should confirm that the initial order of golf balls, clubs, and accessories has been shipped via UPS ground (expected delivery time, ten days).

Encourage Kevin to use his remaining $2,400 credit line to invest in quality display units. Explain that experience demonstrates that sales increase by 25 percent when the product is displayed using your display units.
