Write-A-Case

Having analyzed 6 cases in total, I would like you to write a case. This critical incident must be real, so something you or someone you know has experienced.

• The case must center around a decision point, thus making sure the leader(s) have to make some sort of choice that they need to live with.
• Be neutral in your representation of the facts and ideas, focus on keeping opinions out of the write up.
• While there is a 4-page, single-spaced Times New Roman maximum, I have seen these short cases done well in 2 pages.
• You may integrate all 5 exemplary leadership practices, focus down on one practice, or even get narrower focusing on one or two of the Commitments.
• Provide me with at least 5 discussion questions (or learning objectives) that you feel the case prompts in your mind, or would be worth it for future classes to discuss.
