Hot Desking! Known Information: Defendify Inc. adopted a hybrid work environment where employees work remotely for the majority of the time and come into the office on occasion. Defendify wants to reduce operating costs by hot desking. Employees who need to work in the office occasionally will book a desk for the day instead of being assigned a permanent desk. This should save space and money, enhance productivity, and provide flexibility to employees. An incorrect hot desking process could be disastrous. A process needs to be developed and implemented including a desk booking system. Communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management will be very important considerations. $50,000 (+/- 100%) was estimated during project initiation so a more accurate amount needs to be determined during planning.
