You have been asked to design a logo for a new manufacturing company and write a report outlining the process you used in developing the design. The logo needs to have a width to length ratio of 3: 1 and is to be composed of four different colours. The boundaries between the colours are to be modelled by at least two different non-linear functions. One colour is to represent 50% of the total area, one colour 25%, one 15% and the fourth colour will represent the remaining area. Your report must explain how your colour boundary functions were developed, justifying all of your decisions using mathematics reasoning. This includes accurate sketches and diagrams supporting your design, and all area calculations which have been verified using alternative methods. The report must evaluate the reasonableness of your design in meeting the requirements outlined by the manufacturing company.
