You have been tasked to select a different material to manufacture the aircraft brake discs and aircraft cockpit glass. Write a report to discuss the selection criteria you used for each of your choices of materials and how this led you to your material selections. State what information sources you have used such as relevant standards, material manufacturers' and stockholders' information, data sheets, websites etc. and why. Explain why design, cost and availability are essential in your material selection process. Justify your selection of material for any one of the components. To do this you must set out the materials considered and describe why you favoured one material over the others. Consider factors such as service environment and explain how your selected material meets the stated criteria
