Question: You have received detailed feedback on the concept you proposed for assignment 1. Based on that feedback and based on the concept of Minimum Viable

You have received detailed feedback on the concept you proposed for assignment 1.

Based on that feedback and based on the concept of Minimum Viable Product - MVP you must rethink and sharpen your product concept. If you wish, it is possible to propose something new (in case you are not happy with what you have proposed for assignment 1). Based on your new concept (MVP) use whatever materials you find available at home, school or your place of work and build a prototype of your concept. As discussed, and exercised in class, I do not expect a functional, simpler version of the product. This is not a program on engineering or design, so my expectations are only for a prototype that represents the concept you are proposing (a mock-up of sorts). Cardboard, paper, drawings, sticky notes, tape, and staples are typical materials students use in this assignment. Once you prototype (and because they are typically not very stable) take multiple pictures of it before you go out to show potential users. You are welcome to bring it to class, but the pictures must be added to the final report or presentation deck. You must go out (the building where you live or your neighbourhood, on campus, your place of work) and show the prototype to at least 3 people. You must fulfill the feedback grid for potential users (the form is available on the course Moodle). You must also summarily describe each of the people who provide feedback (e.g., age group, occupation, gender). If possible, to enrich your experience, ask users to record the interaction. From the feedback you received from users and your analysis you must propose at least 3 improvements to your concept (MVP). Lastly, you must at least one paragraph outlining the learning from the experience, what worked well, and what you would have done differently.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS You are expected to:

1. Concept and MVP.

2. The prototype (how well it represents the idea).

3. Interaction and feedback from potential users.

4. Improvements to the MVP based on feedback from users.

5. There is no firm formatting for this assignment but a slide deck or a report are typically the best way to put the information necessary to assignment together.

All submissions, however, must be coherent and professionally presented.

Think of assignments in the course as work you could submit to a prospect employer.
