You must develop a network on an aspect of perception that interests you (visual, auditory,

olfactory, tactile, etc.) and/or a task arising from perception (classification, categorization,

decision, etc.) and to reflect on the explanations, implications, questions, future avenues of

research, limits, ..., resulting from your modelling.

The work must include the usual divisions of all scientific work.

Introduction: Presentation of the chosen problem.

Network: Presentation and justification of the network architecture. Describe how it works

general as well as the role of important units.

Method: Describe the stimuli (number, dimensions) and indicate what they represent.

Results: Strengths and weaknesses of your network on the chosen task (ex. performance at

task, generalization).

Discussion: Comment your simulation according to the human/animal as a point of

reference.

Does this teach you anything about how the human perceptual system works?

Conclusion: Draw an appropriate general conclusion.
