You will develop a partial budget for without numbers to investigate a possible change to management practices, such as a new breed, going no-till, going organic, switching to AI, etc. You CANNOT use adding acreage or adding to your herd. You CANNOT investigate growing a brand new crop or raising a brand new livestock (these require an enterprise budget).

a. First explain what change to your farm you're investigating. Please explain this in depth- don't just say "change breeds" or "go no-till"- explain more and keep in mind your group members will be reading this and they may not be familiar with the crop or livestock you're working on. This must be a substantial change so the partial budget will have more than just a couple of changes.

b. Complete the partial budget. You do NOT need to put in numbers: just determine what would go into each of the 4 categories. For example, if switching to organic, for an increased cost you would type "paperwork requirements"- you would NOT estimate a $ value for it.

Remember the 4 categories: Increased Revenue, Decreased Costs, Increased Costs, Decreased Revenues. If one category won't have anything, explain why.
