You will identify two constructs (intangible qualities) that an employer might want in an employee and identify two ways to measure the presence of each of those constructs. Two forms of measurement are necessary because constructs (e.g., motivation or knowledge) are by nature intangible and therefore impossible to measure accurately with one form of measurement. Use the below example as a guide.

Below is an example of an intangible quality and two forms of measurement:

Knowledge

Measurement 1 - Biographical data (historical data) on the employees education. This information can be found on a resume. Presence of a degree or other advanced coursework is evidence of knowledge in a particular area.

Measurement 2 - Knowledge test. A test of some type over the knowledge needed specifically for that job. A satisfactory score on this test could be considered as evidence of knowledge in that topic.
