your assignment for this week is to write dialogue like you might have with your best friend. You are going to write ten lines for one character and ten lines for the other character, for a total of 20 lines. To be clear, first one character speaks and then the other character speaks. They alternate, just like in my example. I don't want to see 10 lines of one character speaking and then 10 separate lines of the other character. First one speaks, and then the other, just like I've shown you. Your dialogue can be about anything you want. Try to replicate what you and your best friend talk about. Try to make it interesting for me to read. Do not be afraid to write about real life. Try not to bore me. The main thing in this exercise is that you use quotation marks and identify who is speaking correctly.
