Your Assignment You are to develop a change plan for an initiative currently taking place. This plan should be based on the ec@ps model you learned on the programme. To show how you gathered information to develop the plan and the people you engaged in this process, I would like to see the methods you adopted from the programme EG: Stop, Start, Continue, 3Cs, McKinseys 7S, SWOT, Force Field Analysis, IBAR, PESTLE, Lippitt model, Bridges Transitional Model, Kotter's 8 steps ETC. Please use three models Change: is based on the high defect flow out at a manufacturing plant, the employee are making mistakes when assembling a product. 60% of these defects are check items by each production line Quality gates. Although there are inspectors at the end of each production lines but there is a problem where the defects are going pass the quality gates although its a check item. these defects include wrong parts fitted, poor fitment of part, connectors not connected and damages. current struggles are that the quality gate inspection work is done mostly by old employees or employees with medical restriction and conditions, this is because due to the restrictions these employees can not work on a conveyor production line then the most suitable position is the quality inspection. but the problem is the high number of defects that are flowing out and not detected by these quality inspectors. The change plan is to introduced young skilled members to protect the quality by placing then at the quality gates so to stop the defect flow out. The assignment must take this format: 1. A couple of lines explaining what is required from the assignment. 2. A brief outline on the importance and application of complex change. 3. Introduction explaining your department and where you fit in. This should be about a page and a half and can contain an organogram. (Point 1,2 & 3 carry 10% of the total mark) Please do not make this too long and detailed. 4. The methods used to gather information for your plan. I would like to see the results and know who and how you engaged with your team. Please do not use more than 3 methods. This should be about four or five pages. A conclusion outlining your learnings and the way forward. This conclusion should summarise the process followed. This should be about one and a half pages.
