Your Case Study analysis requires you to read and respond to Company Case 8 provided on page 539 of the U.S. edition of the textbook titled: "Bose: Better Products by Focusing on the Product."
After completely reading the assigned case and taking notes, your paper for the case study assignment should be structured as follows:
- Include a 1-paragraph summary of the case background and primary marketing issues/challenges in the beginning of your paper (no more than 10-12 complete sentences)
- Then, continue your paper by answering all the questions at the end of the case reading in PARAGRAPH/ESSAY FORMAT(do not number or use bullets in your response, YOU WILL LOSE POINTS!)
- Your responses to the questions must include evidence from the reading and show deep understanding and connections to concepts from the textbook
- Each of your responses to each of the questions at the end of the case reading must be a minimum of 1 complete paragraph (8-10 complete sentences)
- Make sure you include clear transitions to make sure your paper flows properly from paragraph to paragraph
- You should have a TOTAL of 6 paragraphs in your final document (1st summary paragraph as instructed in the first bullet above, plus the other 5 paragraphs - one for each of questions 1 - 5 at the end of the case study reading)
The final paper submission MUST follow the formatting guidelines below:
- Include a cover page with a title for the assignment, your name, class, due date
- You need to have a MINIMUM of 2.5 typed pages (not including the cover page) but no more than 5 pages
- ALL pages must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins all around (top, bottom, left, right)
- Include a page number either on the lower right hand corner or the upper right hand corner of each page
- ALL fonts must be Arial, size 12
- ALL paragraphs must be indented (press "Tab" on your keyboard before you start typing at the beginning of each new paragraph)
- Complete a spelling & grammar check and proof-read your work PRIOR to submission
- Submit your final paper as a MS Word document
