The prospective buyers will make their reservations with their desired properties for viewing through phone bookings or walk-ins and data will be stored in electronic spreadsheets without a proper database. 1. The prospective buyer is able to browse the available properties. This will display details about properties which include information such as for sale or for rent, property type, state, area, and price and size range of the properties.

2. Occasionally, there are no available properties on the requested area; the system will present the list of available properties closest to the requested area for the prospective buyers to select.

3. The prospective buyer will be able to view the map on the properties via the system.

4. The real estate agency manager will specify the properties available and retrieve report from the system.

5. The booking clerk will manage the booking process.

6. The system should be maintainable.

7. The persistent data e.g. the properties, etc. will be stored in a relational database. You may assume you need to save information in the database.

8. Initially the viewing properties will only be bookable by the telephone. In the future it is likely the system will become web-enabled.

9. The booking clerk should be able to view reports regarding available and unavailable properties for a specified area.

10. The standard process for booking preferred properties for viewing is as follows:

a.A prospective buyer calls into the booking office or contacts the booking office by phone.

b. The booking clerk browses the available properties in the system for the required property for viewing.

c. The prospective buyer informs the clerk regarding their preferred property from the ones available.

d. The booking clerk books the property for viewing. Once booking is done, an email is sent to prospective buyer for acknowledgement and confirmation.

You work for a professional systems consultancy. You have been asked to engage in the analysis, design and implement database for this project. To this end, you have to produce a product that contains all tasks stated in component of documentation.
