1. Choose an individual of interest to you -- it could be a family member or a friend, someone you know well enough to interview with whom you either have or can establish a good rapport. 

2.  Explore a historical event or a topic that interests you. 

The most important thing is to research the topic sufficiently so you are prepared to ask good questions and follow-up questions. 

3. Once you have the topic, the person, the research chosen then do the interview. 

4. Create a presentation that relates the historical event and the individual of your choice.  Your project will be evaluated on the depth and understanding of the story that you produce, the quality of the sources that you incorporate and you demonstrate.
