Ziegler-Nichols' method

Problem 2.1.

To use the Ziegler-Nichols method, we need to find critical reinforcement and critical period time for the process.

Use Matlab to draw the Bode plot for the process without a controller. Use this to determine the amplitude crossover frequency and the phase crossover frequency.

Exercise 2.2.

Find critical gain and critical period time,and use this to find Kp and Ti using Ziegler and Nichols' method.

Exercise 2.3.

Use Matlab to determine the stability margins of the system regulated with the PI controller.

Exercise 2.4.

Use Matlab to draw the device jump response for the feedback system.
