Draw a normal curve showing ±3 standard deviations, and place the z-score scale along the X-axis (see Module 8 if you have forgotten the scale). Now, write the null hypothesis.

a. Where will a z score fall in the distribution curve if the null hypothesis is true (and therefore should be retained)?

b. Where will a z score fall in the distribution curve if the null hypothesis is false (and therefore should be rejected)?
