Show that a charged particle moving in the xy-plane in the presence of a magnetic field B = Bẑ will move in a circle. Compute the radius of the circle and frequency of rotation in terms of the speed v of the particle. Show that adding a constant velocity uẑ in the z-direction stillgives a solution with no further acceleration.
