Needed this for my course STAT 101: Introduction to Statistical Analysis with Excel and upgraded it with a nice discount so that definitely helped. The book showed up faster than I expected, and honestly, it looks really good too—clean pages and easy to flip through. Haven’t had the chance to dive too deep yet since it's only been like two days but the overview chapter seemed straightforward and not overwhelming. Feels like it’ll be great for sorting through stats stuff using Excel so far, which is what I needed for class. Good quality print which helps since I tend to lean on my books more than notes. Pretty happy with it so far!

I stumbled on this book cuz my professor required it for our stats class, and I’m kinda surprised how upfront it is with Excel stuff. Chapter 5—Sampling and Surveys—really caught my attention right away. Before reading it, I was kind of overwhelmed trying to figure out how to properly collect data for my research project, and honestly had no clue how to avoid bias or mess up the sample. But going through that chapter was sort of an eye-opener. It breaks down those sampling methods like they’re common sense, and explains what happens when it goes wrong in a way that wasn’t boring or overly technical. One thing I really liked was the neat examples using Excel so I could see immediately how to set stuff up on my own computer, which made the whole “data collection” thing feel less mysterious and stressful. Showing step-by-step how to use Excel fills a real gap, since just lectures can be kinda dry without the Excel parts. At one point, I caught myself going, “oh, so that’s how survey sampling bias creeps in,” which made testing my project’s plan way less intimidating. My only complaint is that some of the explanations could’ve been a little more detailed, like why choose one sampling type over another in a real-world scenario. A bit more on those ‘when to pick what’ bits would level things up for beginners for sure. Anyway, picked this up for a decent discounted price, so felt like a steal. It showed up fast and clean, so props for that. I’d say if you need help making sense of statistics with Excel involved, and struggle with where to start in surveys or samples, this chapter alone makes it worth trying out. Hope other students find it helpful like I did!

This is a solid book for anyone needing to get their head around statistics using Excel. The author does a good job of mixing theoretical explanations with practical examples, which makes digesting the content a lot simpler. A friend recommended it, and I took advantage of my book club membership discount to get it. So far, I’m liking it!

Elementary Statistics Using Excel, 7th Edition is a fantastic book. The examples are clear and cover a wide range of statistical concepts. I bought it for a class and ended up relying on it more than the lectures. Using Excel for learning statistics makes the process much more engaging. My book arrived quickly and was in pristine condition. A must-have for anyone looking to master statistics using practical tools.

This book does a decent job introducing statistics concepts with Excel, but I found some sections difficult to follow. The author could've provided more step-by-step tutorials to make it easier for beginners. Delivery was on time, though, and the discount I got with my subscription helped soften the blow a bit. Not the worst but not the best.
