The book provides a solid foundation for anyone looking to understand financial accounting in its broader economic context. The examples are relevant and timely, aiding in simplistic understanding of complex concepts. My only gripe is the chapter on international standards, which felt rushed compared to the rest. Overall, it's a well-rounded book. Plus, the extra discount with my subscription was a nice bonus.

Needed this for my Bachelor of Science in Accounting course and bought it on a discount so it was a nice deal. Haven't gotten too far but the book feels pretty clear in how it sorts out accounting stuff within an econ setup, which helps since some topics can get tricky. The hardcover looks good quality and feels solid in my hands, but sometimes it’s a bit heavy to carry around campus. Shipping didn’t take forever which is a plus. I’m still figuring out if it’s gonna be my go-to for studying or just something to complete the course requirements.
