Bought this book on discount for my course MATH 305: Stochastic Processes and Probability Models and so far it looks pretty good. Didn’t dive too deep yet but the chapters I glanced at are easy to follow and the explanations make more sense than I expected. Plus the print and paper feels solid which always helps when studying a lot. It wasn’t expensive since I got a good deal, which made me happy because textbooks usually cost an arm and a leg. Haven’t finished, but seems like a great enough resource to rely on for exams coming up!

So I needed this book for my course STAT 3053: Introduction to Probability Models and Applications and snagged it on a discount which was great cuz textbooks are nuts pricey normally. The layout is okay and the explanations make some parts easier, but a lot of it still feels kinda dense so it’s not a super easy read like I hoped. Paper quality is nice and the pages don’t feel cheap though, which helps since I’m spending a lot of time with it. Shipping was chill, got it way quicker than expected. Still scrolling through the chapters so maybe it’ll click better with more use.
