Was scrolling through course suggestions when I stumbled on this HR book, and hey, gotta say—getting it for free felt like a lucky lift. I went straight to Chapter 5 about Performance Management because that stuff always seemed dry in class, but this chapter made it a bit more real. The way it laid out ways to do feedback without sounding harsh actually kinda surprised me. Like, it gave me some examples I hadn’t seen before and didn’t expect they’d make sense that easily. When I tried some stuff from there with my team during the project, people responded way better than usual—made me think this isn’t just theory. The book’s crisp print and just right size make lugging it around no big deal either. Only thing—sometimes details felt a bit too classic, could use a tiny refresh with more recent work trends but maybe that’s picky of me? Still, if you want a legit introduction and quick helpful hints, I’d say do yourself a favour. Glad to have grabbed this book without spending a dime and it’s already been useful for what I needed.

Happy to grab this free textbook since i needed it for my course HRM 301: Advanced Human Resource Management Strategies and it’s been okay so far, not mind-blowing but gets the job done. the chapters i’ve checked make some tough stuff easier and the print quality is neat—no annoying smudges or anything. shipping came quick, which is always a bonus when deadlines are looming. honestly, some parts feel kinda plain and the examples don’t always click for me, but it’s decent enough if you want a simple base without fluff. still figuring the rest out but so far not bad for a free resource.
