Question:
The data in file XR17063 include the wind chill index (how cold it “feels”) at different combinations of outside temperature (degrees Fahrenheit) and wind speed (miles per hour). For y = wind chill index, x1 = actual outside temperature, and x2 = wind speed, fit a first order polynomial model to the data and interpret the partial regression coefficients and the R2 value. Add an interaction term to the model. To what extent has the addition of the interaction term improved the explanatory power of the model?
