b. For the scatterplot, imagine a reasonable linear model. Or use a strand of thread, a stretched rubber band, or the edge of a clear ruler to form the line. Choose two points (not necessarily data points) that lie on the line. Use the two points to find an equation of a linear model.

c. Use your model to determine whether two 500-foot-long cruise ships would require a crew size less than, equal to, or greater than that for one 1000-foot-long cruise ship.
d. A student says that two 500-foot ships should require the same number of crew members as a 1000-foot ship, because 500 + 500 = 1000. What would you tell the student?
