As a hands-on experience, I can tell about two academic projects that I have done during my academics.
1. A mini project -automated railway gate system, which opens and closes the railway gate automatically according to the position of the train on the rail, controlling the traffic across the railway cross.
2. Miniaturization of patch antenna using CSRR and SRR structure, Using SRR and CSRR structures incorporated onto patch antenna we could able to reduce the size of the antenna without much reduction in antenna response.
