Coordinate pilot bulk production, ensure input is available and speedy
transformation to the production flow in order to facilitate the pilot and
bulk production process in a smooth manner thereby continuously
maintain required efficiency levels.
• Ensure that all production processes as per the plan are available for
the initiation of production by the Pre-Production Meeting and liaise
with Merchandising, Raw Material Stores, Fabric Technology and
Cutting to ensure that all materials are released for production on time
• Liaise with Sub contracting Executive in order to obtain required input
to feed production and ensure availability of such material to facilitate
smooth functioning of production operations
• Identify issues / problems related to raw materials availability based
on the information given by Purchasing dept, and communicate with
relevant functions/depts. to take appropriate action in order to ensure
smooth functioning of production operations
• Communicate with merchandising, commercial and prepare
logistical schedules in order to ensure transformation of raw
materials to all production units to meet production
requirements
• Take part at monthly planning meetings, ensuring plant loading occurs
as per budget whilst considering the allocated product mix, order
sizes, production feasibility, technical, machinery and skill
requirements
• Monitor and confirm raw material deliveries are as per the purchase
orders and ensure any discrepancies in raw material and other
resources deliveries are promptly informed to the merchandisers in
order to fulfill customer order requirements
• Ensure availability of resources, apply techniques / methods / systems
for process improvement of stores operations, implement customer
compliance strategies / systems in order to ensure continuous
improvement in stores operations
