A programmer while designing and building the software can make mistakes or errors. These mistakes or errors mean that there are flaws in the software. These are called defects. I was part of a “Defect Management Team” whose role was to coordinate with the various project stakeholders to resolve such defects. This is important to deliver the required project to the stakeholders.
