I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I took classes in advanced calculus, linear algebra, and math methodologies for teaching during my studies. After receiving my degree, I was able to teach mathematics at the middle and high school levels. I also use internet tools and platforms. I worked as a geometry and algebra teacher at model High School for students in grades 9 and 10. Throughout my employment, I created curriculum-aligned lesson plans that were interesting to the students, evaluated their progress, and gave them and their parents helpful criticism. In order to promote a love of math, I also developed extracurricular math clubs and competitions.
I design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and fit the needs of all students. I use various teaching methods like lectures, discussions and hands on activities to help students learn. I assess student performance through assignments, tests, participation and give helpful feedback. I maintain a well organized and respectful classroom and also offer extra help to students who need it through tutoring and mentoring.
