Vision is developing its plans to open several hotels in Asia and Europe. It has commissioned several marketing studies and has been consulting with engineers, property developers, and contractors regarding the planned hotels. Vision’s plans are known to only a few senior-level executives, all of who have signed confidentiality agreements that also include provisions prohibiting the employees from working for any direct competitor of Vision for 18 months after employment with Vision. Vision recently discovered that one of the engineers has leaked its plans to Westpark, a competitor hotel chain, which bribed the engineer to leak the plans. Additionally, Carolyn, one of Vision’s senior executives is leaving Vision to go work for Westpark.
