At 16oC, the fundamental frequency of an organ pipe is 440.0 Hz. What will be the fundamental frequency of the pipe if the temperature increases to 32oC? Would it be better to construct the pipe with a material that expands substantially as the temperature increases or should the pipe be made of material that maintains the same length at all normal temperatures?
