Some cultures are more accepting than others of corrupt practices such as bribery. Corruption is not tolerated in the United States or by U.S. firms operating abroad. However, in some countries, it's the price of entry for many foreign firms. Visit www.transparency.org and look at the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) report. The CPI can range from 0 to 100, where a low index score means a country is perceived as highly corrupt and a higher score means highly ethical. Pick three countries that are rated as least corrupt and three that are highly corrupt and explain why you think they may be that way.
