Candi Canyon works in a resort location. During peak seasons the resort hires a large number of university students who live in dormitory-style housing at the resort. The dorms are approximately 2 km from the students’ job locations. In addition, on their off days, students enjoy participating in activities available at the resort or going into the local town about 5 km away. Most of the students do not own cars. A group of entrepreneurial students are developing a plan to propose a “bike share” program. These pro-grams operate successfully in large cities like Toronto and are similar to the “car share” programs.
