I have about 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have taught a range of subjects that I have an academic background in or even languages that I speak. One of the best ways to gain teaching experience is to teach someone for free or in exchange for them teaching you.
Tutoring one on one was very enjoyable and rewarding. My students and I had fun, and grew quite fond of one another. The extra income was a bonus. I had to retire from tutoring due to a physically handicapping disease, and miss my students very much.
