Exercise 4: Can I Create a Simple Excel Database? Objectives 1. Design a record structure to use in some aspect of healthcare. 2. Enter records. 3. Generate an interesting chart. 4. Print a report. 5. Save the file. Activity Some activities can include patient registration database, a work list for caring for a group of patients, a tracking clinical experiences database, tracking immunizations or medications, or some other topic of interest to you that is approved by the professor. 1. Generate a few questions you will ask of the database. This dictates fields needed in the database. 2. Create the Table structure in Excel. 3. Add at least 10 records. 4. Make at least one calculation, one sort, and one filter. 5. Create one chart on its own sheet. 6. Save the work as Chap8-Exercise4-LastName and submit as directed by the professor.
