Compare two or more different media sources about the same issue or event (e.g., blogs of your favorite news source or pundit, sketches on faux-news shows such as The Colbert Report or The Daily Show, news editorial programs such as The O’Reilly Factor, or sources local to your own country. Try to choose sources that are quite different in focus

(e.g., a letter to the editor versus a newscast). How do these differ in intended audience, in scope of coverage, in types of evidence provided for the points being made, and in the general form and function of the media? How might you treat each differently as you make your own decisions?
