The data in the Exercise 10.2.30 table provide the height of each student and the width of their outstretched arms from fingertip to fingertip; both are given in centimeters. We want to determine whether there is an association between height and arm span. 

a. Write out the hypotheses for this test. 

b. Use the Correlation/Regression applet to find the correlation coefficient. 

c. Conduct a simulation-based test to see whether there is an association between height and arm span. What is the p-value for your test, and what is your conclusion? Remember to also state conclusions in terms of generalization and causation.
