As the supervisor you have to make a decision on disciplinary action. An employee has broken a rule again, after being told not to do so. The employee did not have a good reason for breaking the rule the first time, but you took no action then.

Variables: Write the numbers 1 to 4. To the right of the four numbers, write the four variables. To the left of the four numbers, write the answers to each variable from the model that represent the style to use based on the variable. On the Management Style line, write the style that is appropriate for the situation. On the Action line, write how the decision would be made. You are not making the decision, just stating the decision style and how the decision will be made.
