The class divides into groups of five. Each group is asked to develop a set of recommendations on how multinational firms may ensure that work safety problems are avoided across foreign locations, particularly in less-developed countries where regulations are weak and corruption is common (for instance, safety inspectors may be bribed easily). Each team makes a presentation in class, with discussion that follows mediated by the instructor.
